Wedding Update

10 Days til we say "i Do"!!!!!!

Next Saturday is the big day, and I can not wait! It will be so nice to have all of our friends and family in town for a weekend to celebrate with us.

Yesterday Taylor helped me to get our programs and menus completely finished and printed. Ryan and I also spent time meeting with our DJ to go over the timeline of the big night. Tomorrow I head back to Lafayette for my second, final dress fitting (the last one wasn't quite so final as I thought it would be). Then when I get back to Indy we are going to get our marriage license. I just finished the seating chart and final head count today (so happy that is done). Friday we pick up our rings from Reis-Nichols and our new dining room furniture gets delivered : ) Saturday we are relaxing and doing no wedding work!! We are having a garage sale all day -- come see us!! Then my grandparents from California are coming to see our house along with my parents. We are going to grill out and watch the IU football game.

Then it's wedding week! I am trying to get as much done as I can this week, so next week will just be finalizing details, and it will allow us to relax and spend time with family and friends.

I have a feeling these next 10 days are going to fly by.

Busy, Busy, Busy

22 Days until the wedding! We have been so busy with last minute details, work, weddings, the house, and spending time with family and friends. I wanted to post some pictures though, from the past couple weeks. Hope you enjoy, and can't wait to see everyone in 3 weeks : )

Oh Giirrrlll, It's Your Birthday!

This week was my 25th Birthday, and it was a great one!! Tuesday, Ryan and I had dinner at Mitchell's Fish Market, which was delicious. Wednesday Ryan and I met his dad, Tiffany, Amber, and Ryan at Northside Social for some cocktails and dinner. We had such a good time, and loved the restaurant. Afterwords we went back to the May's to watch Hard Knocks, and Tiff cooked us up a little surprise. We had chocolate fondue that was amazing!!
Last weekend I went home, while Ryan was in Vegas, and my sister made me feel special with all her little birthday touches. She made red velvet cupcakes, my favorite! We also went to the Pearl's lake house, and Taylor made everyone wear birthday crowns!! My mom gave me the perfect dress to wear to the rehearsal as well!

I want to thank everyone who made my birthday so nice and special. I love my family and friends so much!! xoxo

It's almost time for football season to start back up!! I can't wait to get down to Bloomington for some games again this year. I just LOVE Bloomington!!

The season opener is just a couple weeks away, and I can't wait! We will miss the Akron and Michigan game because of our wedding / honeymoon, but I'm sure we will try to make the rest of the home games and of course the last game of the season at Purdue. I sure do miss making "Marando" shirts and wearing his jersey to the games. I posted some of my favorite football pictures from the last 5 seasons that Ryan played. I must say though, he is becoming one phenomenal tailgater ; )

50 Days Til We Say "I DO!"

I can't believe I get to marry my best friend in 50 days! I remember getting excited to say it was 300 days away! Our summer has just gone by so fast, and even though it seems like the wedding is so far away, I have a feeling these last 50 days are going to fly by. I'm getting really excited, and I feel good about where we are at in all the planning. I think we have done almost everything we can until the RSVP's come in and we get closer to the date. We knocked out a lot these past 2 weeks...invitations, cake, dress fitting, hair / make-up trial, meeting w/ Father Stan, passports, jewelry, shoes, finalizing flowers! Now I just can't wait to get back all of your RSVP's; I get so excited checking the mail each day : )

A couple months ago we took a family trip to Carmel, California. My family, Kyle and Ryan all went to visit my grandparents and watch the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. We had a blast and it was a very relaxing trip that went by way to fast! Here are a few pictures from our vacation...

This past weekend my best friends put together a fabulous Bachelorette Party for me in Chicago. I was a little nervous because the girls actually kept the entire weekend a surprise from me.... Everything was absolutely perfect!

When we arrived on the 22nd floor of the Marriott I could see the purple and pink balloons and streamers as I got off the elevator! The entire room was decorated so nice. The day started by opening hilarious gifts, drinking margaritas, getting glam, and eating pizza. I was a little curious as to why we were leaving the hotel to go out for the night at 7pm, especially since we already had eaten dinner. We got outside and walked over to an SUV limo; I couldn't believe it was ours for the night! It was stalked with drinks, but just in case we brought along plenty for the night! We went to a bar where we met our party planner, got some free gifts, and a free shot...after that we headed to a BYOB club. That is when I realized why we had left the hotel at 7pm...we had to catch the "Dream Boys Show". It was an absolute ball! We were there for quite awhile. The rest of the night we bar hopped down town and cruised around in our limo : )
