Everything Gets HOTTER When The Sun Goes Down
Friday night Kenny Chesney came to Verizon Wireless Center and it was an amazing concert. We were with a great group of friends and just had a blast! The weather was a bit chilly for the end of June, but with a jacket it was the perfect night. Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker also performed Friday night, but Kenny stole the show.
Saturday was pretty nice too and we were outside in the yard most of the afternoon. We actually got a lot done Saturday, and how could I forget we were dog sitting Kobe for my parents from Wednesday to Sunday! Kobe loved being outside Saturday and playing in the water shooting out of the hose. We went on a few walks too, and I think he was happy we were leaving for dinner Saturday night because we had wore him out. Taylor & Kyle came over and we had a drink then headed to Ruth's Chris for dinner...YUM! We met my Aunt Patty & Uncle Wayne and our Cousins Ryan, Sean, & Grace. Our three hour dinner was perfect for catching up with everyone, and we couldn't have had a better time.
Sunday we got up early to get all of Kobe's belongings packed up so we could take him back to Lafayette, even though we didn't want him to leave! We met my parents at their house and got ready for a golf scramble at the Elks. My Mom & Dad asked Kyle & Ryan to be on their team, and Taylor & I were quite offended they just left us out...so we made our own team. Taylor, Me, Tom, & Jay = BlumBalls. We weren't the best team but I think we had the most fun out of everyone that played that day. Taylor & I weren't awful and our team actually used some of our shots. We finished 6 under, and Ryan, Kyle, My Mom & Dad finished 10 under, and the winning team was 13 under. We did win something though...BlumBalls won the random $200 drawing : ) After we were finished we had to all rush back to Fishers to play in our sand volleyball league. We played at 8:00 pm and were so tired, but we did win! We actually stayed until after 10:00 pm playing pick-up, which probably explains why I fell asleep after I showered, as soon as my head hit my pillow.
We had such a fun weekend, and this holiday weekend we are going to the Lake Erie for the 4th. My Mom & Dad are coming too. I can't wait for cooking out, cocktails, boating, and lounging at the pool. Hope everyone had a fun & safe July 4th weekend!

Please Help Find Lauren
Today I offered up my blog in an effort to help find Lauren Spierer, and I will continue to do so until she is found. I have been following @NewsOnLaurenS on Twitter for continuous updates and you can to at http://twitter.com/#!/NewsOnLaurenS. They have asked that I and anyone else who has online space, to offer it up so we can keep Lauren's story fresh on everyone's minds, and involve everyone in her search. Lauren went missing on June 3rd, at 4:30 a.m. and was last seen on the corner of 11th and College Avenue wearing black pants and a white top. Lauren is 4' 11'', 95 lbs, she has blonde hair and blue eyes and is a Junior at Indiana University.
She has been missing for 18 days now, so volunteers are needed more than ever, to stay persistent and help bring Lauren back to her family. Here is a timeline from the IDS of these past 18 days: http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=81967
If you are in Bloomington or surrounding areas and can volunteer your time it is greatly appreciated and so helpful. If you are interested in organizing volunteers to help search the Bloomington area you can find more information here: http://newsonlaurens.blogspot.com/2011/06/will-you-become-find-lauren-search.html

Lazy Weekend
Rain, Rain go Away! This past weekend we stayed home, but we were unable to get things done we had planned on doing because of the crummy weather. A couple weekends ago we worked on landscaping the front yard, and this past Saturday/Sunday we were going to do the back, but the rain put our plans on hold.
Friday night Ryan and I went to dinner at Fire by the MONON with my cousin Emily, and her husband, Ben. The food was so fresh, it was awesome. The restaurant has only been open for about 5 weeks, and I definitely recommend it. I want to go back because there are about 8 more things on the menu I want to try! After dinner we met a couple of friends at Bella Vita for a few drinks, which turned into a few more and a few more haha..but we had a great time. Saturday morning I went to spin and Ryan went to play basketball. We wanted to work on the yard or go to the pool but none of that happened. We cooked a big brunch and watched golf most of the afternoon. That night we grabbed a quick bite to eat and then went over to Taylor and Kyle's to play games. We planned on going to a movie or bowling but ended up just staying at their house.
Sunday once again was rainy, so I went shopping at Nordstrom and to have lunch with Taylor while Ryan went to the gym. I got some things done around the house, but we found ourselves laying around watching the U.S. Open all afternoon dozing in and out of naps. That night we played in our first sand volleyball game of the season..it was a Blast! The league is at Pinheads in Fishers on Sunday nights. We ended up sticking around and playing until 10:30 pm. and passed out when we got home. Needless to say we didn't have the most exciting weekend, but it was fun to not have much of a schedule, especially because we have a lot planned the next few weekends. Hope everyone had a good week, and stays dry.

NewlyWeds: The PEARLS
My sister, Taylor, married her high school sweetheart last Saturday, June 4, 2011! Taylor & Kyle looked so great on their wedding day and everything was Beautiful! We had so much fun with friends and family who came to Lafayette to celebrate all weekend long.
The 2:30 pm ceremony was beautiful, and my wonderful husband was the best photographer during the whole thing.
FROM PROM DATES
TO HUSBAND & WIFE
It was really amazing getting to be Taylor's Matron of Honor, and do for her everything she did for me 9 months ago...everything from dress shopping to the Bachelorette Party! At the beginning of April we had Taylor's first shower in Lafayette. Mrs. Delong & Abby were the hosts, and it was a perfect day with lovely ladies.
Next Ryan & I hosted a Couples Shower at our house for Taylor & Kyle's friends. It was so much fun having everyone there together. We had good food, tons of fun playing beer pong, and Taylor & Kyle got a lot of great gifts.
There wasn't much down time before the Bachelorette Party was here! A bunch of us girls stayed in a hotel in down town Indianapolis. We had a great dinner at Pronto in the new J.W. Afterwards we headed up to our rooms and opened gifts and played drinking games. We ended our night at Bartini, V.I.P style. It was such a fun night with all of Taylor's closest girlfriends.
Kyle & the boys had a Bachelor Party in Vegas, but we couldn't just stay home...so we decided on a Bachelorette Party (Round 2) in Cali!! We had the best girls weekend + Boumpa. Relaxation, Shopping, Dining, & Spas : )
Once everyone was back from vacations Taylor & Kyle moved into their new home, and it was just a few short weeks until wedding weekend. Thursday night people started to arrive to Lafayette and it was great seeing everyone. Thursday anyone who was already in town met at Nine Irish for dinner & drinks. Friday morning Kyle and the guys went golfing at the Elks while Taylor & I got pretty at the spa : ). We then had lunch and spent a while getting the reception room looking gorgeous.
Friday night, and the rehearsal was here. The wedding party and family met at the church for a quick run through before dinner at the Elks. The Pearls put on such a fun evening at the Elks, everything was perfect from the decor to the delicious food! The bride & groom spoiled the wedding party with great gifts, every girl loves Coach : )
June 4, 2011 = Wedding Day! After a nearly 16th month engagement it was finally wedding day. All the girls had a suite to get ready in on the 3rd floor of our hotel, while the guys were in a suite on the 2nd floor, just far enough away. It was actually a very relaxed morning getting ready with all us girls. Oliva & Kailey came to do all of our hair and they did a wonderful job. We had mimosas and snacks, did make-up, and got everything ready for the day.
She was finally ready and off to meet her Groom!!
The 2:30 pm ceremony was beautiful, and my wonderful husband was the best photographer during the whole thing.
They did it! Mr. & Mrs. Kyle Pearl!! Between the ceremony and the reception the entire wedding party road around in the limo, making a few stops for pictures and cocktails. We had so much fun at Harry's.
Reception & time to celebrate the newlyweds! Despite the AC going out everything looked beautiful & everyone had a blast. The DJ was wonderful and the photo booth was a hit. (I didn't get to take too many pictures at the reception, but the photographer's pictures should be up any day now, and I know they will all be wonderful!)
The Newlyweds are spending their honeymoon in the Bahamas! CONGRATS Mr. & Mrs. Pearl : )
